Facilitate daily toolbox talks, briefing workers on task-specific hazards and applicable control measures prior to commencement of work to embed a proactive safety culture on site. Ensure all worksites maintain full compliance with company safety policies, legislative requirements, and industry standards. Assist in developing project-specific HSE procedures, policies, and guidelines to ensure alignment with company and client standards. Deliver HSE induction training and orientations for all new contractor employees prior to site mobilisation. Conduct thorough investigations of accidents and near-miss incidents; compile and close out all Accident Investigation Reports in line with regulatory requirements. Track HSE performance metrics and produce regular reports for the Department Head to support data-driven decision-making. Actively participated in implementing an effective HSE Management System and managing occupational risk across the project.
